Canoeing & Kayaking:

The waterways of Haliburton County have been integral to the development and enjoyment of the area for centuries. Discover the Highlands from the vantage point of the earliest explorers and natives. There are hundreds of kilometers of interlinked rivers and lakes accessible from the Frost Center, Drag River, or the Irondale River to make your canoeing vacation most memorable.

The Minden Wild Water Preserve promises to get the adrenalin flowing as it careens down through class IV rapids. With campgrounds and amenities adjacent to the river, you'll have the time of your life kayaking the Gull River.

The Minden Wildwater Preserve is 800 meters of adrenalin pumping fun! Come to the greatest canoeing and kayaking destination in Ontario.
